The invention discloses a connection device for the electric connection between the poles of accumulators which comprises: a connecting electric cable (2) ending at each of its extremities with a conductors ring (3), the hole (4) of which lodges a connecting screw having a fillister head (5) connecting said cable to an electric pole (6) of the accumulator; an insulation coating made of plastic material (1) belonging to the insulating element (10) which coats said connection device, said insulation coating presenting the external shape of a truncated cone, wherein the part having a smaller diameter is sealed with a lid and the part having a larger diameter rests on the surface (9) of the lid of the accumulator; a lid (90) for sealing each insulation coating. Said insulation coating (1) presents a first annular wall (11) having the shape of a cylinder of the same diameter as the head of the connecting screw having its base on the surface of the conductor ring in contact with said head (52) of the connecting screw (5) and extending itself for a certain section along the cylindrical wall of said head (52) of said screw (5), said annular wall co-operating with said screw head in order to ensure a watertight seal preventing the leakage of electrolyte.
L'invention concerne un dispositif destiné à raccorder électriquement les pôles dans un accumulateur, ce dispositif comprenant: un câble de raccord électrique (2) se terminant à chacune de ses extrémités par un anneau conducteur (3) dont l'intérieur (4) sert à loger une vis de raccordement (5) dotée d'une tête cylindrique bombée, reliant ledit câble à un pôle électrique (6) de l'accumulateur; une couche isolante (1) en plastique fait partie de l'élément d'isolation (10) lequel recouvre le dispositif de raccordement, cette couche isolante présentant la forme externe d'un cône tronqué dont la partie ayant le plus petit diamètre est fermée de manière étanche par un couvercle, et la partie ayant le plus grand diamètre repose sur une surface (9) du couvercle de l'accumulateur. Ce dispositif comprend également un couvercle (90) destiné à recouvrir de façon étanche chaque couche d'isolation. La couche d'isolation (1) présente une première paroi annulaire (11) formant un cylindre de même diamètre que celui de la tête de la vis (5), et dont la base repose sur la surface de l'anneau conducteur en contact avec cette tête (52); cette paroi s'étend elle-même sur une certaine longueur de la paroi cylindrique de la tête (52) de la vis (5) et elle coopère avec ladite vis de manière à assurer une étanchéité, prévenant ainsi toute fuite d'électrolyte.
