A controllable inductor comprises at least a tubular core (3), a main winding (1) surrounding the core and a control winding (4) passing substantially axially through the core. It also comprises a yoke (19) of a material having a high magnetic permeability arranged to extend outside the core and the main winding and together with the core form a closed loop having at the most small air gaps for a main magnetic flux generated in the core by a current in said main winding and extending substantially axially to the core. The control winding comprises first plates of a material having a good electric conductivity extending substantially axially through the core.

L'invention porte sur un inducteur réglable comportant au moins un noyau tubulaire (3), un enroulement principal (1) entourant le noyau, et un enroulement de commande (4) passant sensiblement axialement à travers le noyau. L'appareil comporte également une culasse (19) d'un matériau à perméabilité magnétique élevée s'étendant à l'extérieur du noyau et de l'enroulement principal, et qui forme avec le noyau une boucle fermée présentant tout au plus un petit entrefer pour le flux magnétique principal produit dans le noyau par un courant et qui s'étend sensiblement axialement au noyau. L'enroulement de commande comprend des premières plaques d'un matériau bon conducteur électrique qui s'étend sensiblement axialement à travers le noyau.
