A cruciform joint of glazing bars comprising a glazing bar extending between and perpendicular to an aligned pair of glazing bars. Each glazing bar has a central load bearing portion (16) which has a solid snap-fit formation (22) at one end, interconnected to a solid end portion (23) by a hollow mid-portion (21). A base portion is interlocked with the solid end portion (23) and a clamping section is snap-fitted onto the snap-fit formation (22) so that a respective pane of glazing material can be clamped therebetween. The aligned pair of glazing bars are connected by a key (19) which is placed through a keyhole (18) in the intervening glazing bar and which extends into the hollow mid-portions (21) of each of the aligned pair. The keyhole (18) is formed solely through the hollow mid-portion (21) of the glazing bar, and the key (19) is inserted through the aperture (18) and then rotated and snap-fitted into a locked setting.

Joint cruciforme consitué par des petits bois, dont l'un s'étend entre une paire alignée de petits bois et perpendiculairement à cette dernière. Chaque petit bois possède une partie centrale de support de charge (16), dont une extrémité comporte une partie pleine d'emboîtement (22), accouplée à une partie d'extrémité pleine (23) au moyen d'une partie médiane creuse (21). Une partie de base est accouplée à la partie d'extrémité pleine (23) et une section de serrage est emboîtée sur la partie d'emboîtement (22), de façon à pouvoir fixer entre elles un carreau respectif de vitrage. Les paires aligneés de petits bois sont accouplées au moyen d'une clavette (19) placée à travers un passage de clavette (18) au niveau du croisement des petits bois et s'étendant à l'intérieur des parties médianes creuses (21) de chacune des paires alignées. Le passage de clavette (18) se trouve uniquement à travers la partie médiane creuse (21) du petit bois et la clavette (19) s'introduit à travers l'ouverture (18), puis se tourne et s'emboîte en position verrouillée.
