The invention relates to a curable polysulfide composition, which has an application in making a preserving coating, and an insulator in the field of road construction, house building, etc. The target of the invention is to obtain a stable polysullide curable composition for which the cure rate and the cure velocity are independant of the surroundings, to allow the obtaining of culcanized material with high grade of technical and ecological parameters, avoiding the typical unpleasant smell of mercaptane polysulfides and the toxicity of the curing agents, additives and fillers. The problem is solved using the following curable polysulfide composition: polysulfides polymer and/or copolymer containing up to 1 mol/kg SH groups, with molecular weight from 2,000 to 200,000, polysulfide degree from 2.2 to 4.0, ramification rate up to 4 mol percent and degree of polymerization of 20 to 500 in an amount of 90 to 110 pbw and having the average formula (I); modifier up to 75 pbw; curing agent from 0.2 up to 20 pbw; polar solvent or reagent up to 25 pbw; acceptor from 5 to 50 pbw; fillers and other additives up to 150 pbw.
L'invention porte sur un composé polymérisable de polysulfures servant de couche protectrice ou isolante dans les domaines du génie routier, de la construction etc. Le but de l'invention est l'obtention d'un composé polymérisable stable de polysulfures dont le taux et la vitesse de polymérisation soient indépendants de l'environnement et donnant un matériau vulcanisé aux excellentes propriétés techniques et écologiques et ne présentant ni l'odeur déplaisante de polysulfures tels que le mercaptane, ni la toxicité des agents vulcanisants, des additifs et des charges. La solution réside dans des polysulfures polymérisables de la composition suivante: polysulfures polymérisables contenant jusqu'à 1 mole/kg de groupes SH d'un poids moléculaire compris entre 2000 et 200 000, d'un degré de polysulfuration compris entre 2,2 et 4,0, d'un taux de ramification allant jusqu'à 4 moles %, et d'un degré de polymérisation compris entre 20 et 500, à raison de 90 à 110 parties en poids et présentant la formule moyenne (I). Les proportions des composants sont les suivantes: adjuvant jusqu'à 75 parties en poids; agent vulcanisant de 0,2 à 20 parties en poids; solvant ou réactif polaire jusqu'à 75 parties en poids; accepteur de 5 à 50 parties en poids; charges et autres additifs jusqu'à 75 parties en poids.
