A holding plate for selectively heating and cooling samples in a solution has two opposing surfaces, and a plurality of cylindrically-shaped through-hole wells for holding the samples. Each well extends between the two surfaces of the holding plate, and has an aspect ratio of greater than 5:1, and a diameter less than approximately 500 microns. A metallic coating is applied by vapor deposition techniques on a surface of the holding plate. Importantly, this coating extends into each well through a distance of approximately one and a half well diameters for contact with the solution and the samples. A heat transfer device is thermally connected to the metallic coating for selectively heating and cooling the samples in the wells of the holding plate.
La présente invention a trait à un plateau de réception destiné au chauffage et au refroidissement au choix d'échantillons dans une solution comportant deux faces opposées, et une pluralité de cupules de forme cylindrique à trous traversants pour contenir les échantillons. Chaque cupule s'étend entre les deux faces du plateau de réception, et présente un facteur de forme supérieur à 5:1, et un diamètre inférieur à environ 500 microns. On applique un revêtement métallique par les techniques de dépôt par évaporation sous vide à une face du plateau de réception. Avantageusement, ce revêtement s'étend dans chaque cupule d'une distance d'environ une fois et demie des diamètres de cupule pour être en contact avec la solution et les échantillons. Un dispositif de transfert thermique est relié thermiquement au revêtement métallique pour le chauffage et le refroidissement au choix des échantillons dans les cupules du plateau de réception.
