A drive transmission implement for rotating a paint roller body (9) having an axial through-bore (12) for releasably receiving a shaft, comprises a spindle (16) having a first end portion (16b) adapted to receive drive to rotate it about its axis, a second end portion (16a) adapted to fit into the axial through-bore (12) in the roller body, a clutch device (17) carried by the spindle (16) intermediate the end portions and means for retaining a roller body fitted on to the second spindle portion in engagement with the clutch device (17) to enable rotational drive to be transmitted from the spindle to the roller body (9), particularly for cleaning.
L'instrument selon l'invention, qui transmet une force d'entraînement servant à faire tourner un corps de rouleau à peindre (9) doté d'un trou traversant axial (12) destiné à recevoir, de manière amovible, un axe, comprend une tige (16) dont une première extrémité (16b) est conçue pour recevoir une force d'entraînement servant à la faire tourner autour de son axe et une seconde extrémité (16a) conçue pour venir s'adapter dans le trou traversant axial (12) à l'intérieur du corps du rouleau. Cet instrument comprend également un dispositif d'accouplement (17), monté entre les deux extrémités de la tige (16) qui le supporte, ainsi que des moyens servant à maintenir le corps de rouleau, placés sur la seconde partie de la tige, en prise avec le dispositif d'accouplement (17) afin de transmettre un mouvement de rotation de la tige au corps de rouleau (9), notamment pour le nettoyage.
