A drogue assembly (10) comprises a circumferential array of triangular support arms (11). Each support ar<n (1i) is pivoted and mounted on a pivot pin (21) at its apex (19) for swinging movement in a radial direction. Each juxtaposed pair of support arms (11) is joined together by a net (27) which is joined to each of those support arms ( 11 ) at spaced intervals therealong. 'The support arms ( 11 ) carry a drogue parachute (38) which extends circumferentially around their shortest sides (13).

Chaque bras de support (11) pivote et est monté sur un axe (21) de pivotement, en son sommet (19), de façon à effectuer un mouvement de balancier dans le sens radial.
