A glue gun (1) for melting a glue stick (2) comprises a heating device (3) which in turn comprises a main housing (4) having a combustion chamber (6) and a working body member (5) having a heating chamber (20) within which the glue stick (2) is melted. A gas catalytic combustion element (10) in the combustion chamber (6) converts fuel gas to heat for heating the main body member (4) for in turn melting the glue stick (2). Melted glue is dispensed through a dispensing nozzle (25). A cover (30) around the dispensing nozzle (25) forms a pair of exhaust gas passageways (33) on respective opposite sides of the dispensing nozzle (25) for conducting exhaust gases from an exhaust gas port (15) from the combustion chamber (6) to an exhaust gas outlet (34). Heat exchange fins (45, 46) form the passageway (33) into a circuitous tortuous passageway and transfer heat from the exhaust gases into the dispensing nozzle (25) for cooling the exhaust gases to a safe temperature.
L'invention concerne un pistolet (1) à colle destiné à faire fondre un bâton (2) de colle et comprenant un dispositif (3) de chauffage qui comprend à son tour un corps (4) principal doté d'une chambre (6) de combustion et un élément (5) de corps de travail doté d'un compartiment (20) de chauffage dans lequel le bâton (2) de colle est fondu. Un élément (10) de combustion catalytique par gaz dans la chambre (6) de combustion transforme le gaz combustible en chaleur pour chauffer l'élément (4) du corps principal afin qu'à son tour, il fasse fondre le bâton (2) de colle. La colle fondue s'écoule par une buse (25) de distribution. Un couvercle (30) autour de la buse (25) de distribution forme deux passages (33) de gaz d'évacuation des côtés opposés respectifs de la buse (25) de distribution et est destiné à transporter les gaz d'évacuation d'un orifice (15) d'évacuation de gaz dans la chambre (6) de combustion à un orifice (34) de sortie de gaz. Des ailettes (45, 46) d'échange de chaleur font du passage (33) un passage sinueux détourné et transfèrent la chaleur des gaz d'évacuation dans la buse (25) de distribution, ce qui permet de refroidir les gaz d'évacuation jusqu'à une température à laquelle ils ne présentent pas de danger.
