There is disclosed a holder (100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700) for holding at least one compact disc (150, 250, 350, 450, 550, 650, 750), the holder including means for releasably engaging with part of a peripheral edge of the disc, such that a continuous, flush, and planar upper surface is formed when the holder is engaged with the disc.
