Lightning protection arrangement for diverting a current, caused by a lightning strike, from an electronic unit (5) which is fitted to an aerodynamic fairing of an aircraft. The device comprises an electrically conductive mounting plate (9A) which is arranged on an outer side of a CFRP sandwich panel (1) of the aerodynamic fairing. Furthermore, the device has an electrically conductive rear plate (9B) which is arranged on an inner side of the CFRP sandwich panel (1) of the aerodynamic fairing and is connected electrically to the mounting plate (9A) In this respect, a first group of attachment means provided for the electronic unit (5) connects the electrical unit (5) electrically to the rear plate (9B). An electric current generated during a lightning strike is diverted with low resistance from the electrical unit (5) via the rear plate (9B) and the mounting plate (9A) onto the fuselage of the aircraft.

L'invention concerne un agencement paratonnerre destiné à protéger du courant résultant d'un coup de foudre une unité électronique (5) qui est placée sur l'habillage aérodynamique d'un aéronef. Le dispositif comprend une plaque de montage (9A) électriquement conductrice qui est disposée sur une face extérieure d'un panneau sandwich en matière plastique renforcée par des fibres de carbone (1) de l'habillage aérodynamique. Par ailleurs, le dispositif possède une plaque de dos (9B) électriquement conductrice qui est disposée sur une face intérieure du panneau sandwich en matière plastique renforcée par des fibres de carbone (1) de l'habillage aérodynamique et qui est reliée électriquement avec la plaque de montage (9A). Un premier groupe de moyens de fixation, prévu pour l'unité électronique (5), relie ainsi électriquement l'unité électrique (5) et la plaque de dos (9B). Le courant électrique produit par le coup de foudre est déchargé par l'unité électrique (5) avec une faible résistance ohmique vers le fuselage de l'aéronef, via la plaque de dos (9B) et la plaque de montage (9A).
