A pharmaceutical liquid formulation for delivering nicotine in any form to a subject by trans dermal uptake for treating tobacco dependence and similar conditions, said formulation being a medicated body lotion, medicated body balm or medicated body gel. Also contemplated is a method for delivery of nicotine, a method for the reduction of the urge to smoke or use tobacco as well as methods for manufacturing said liquid formulation, the use of said liquid formulation for obtaining trans dermal uptake of nicotine through the skin of a subject, and use of nicotine for the production of a liquid formulation for the treatment of a disease selected from the group consisting of tobacco or nicotine dependence, Alzheimer's disease, Crohn's disease, Parkinson's disease, Tourette's syndrome and ulcerous colitis, and for post-smoking-cessation weight control.
La présente invention concerne une formulation pharmaceutique liquide pour administrer, chez un sujet, la nicotine sous n'importe quelle forme par prise transdermique pour le traitement de la dépendance au tabac et de conditions similaires, ladite formulation étant une lotion corporelle médicamenteuse, un baume corporel médicamenteux ou un gel corporel médicamenteux. La présente invention concerne également un procédé pour l'administration de nicotine, un procédé pour la réduction de l'urgence de fumer ou d'utiliser du tabac ainsi que des procédés de fabrication de ladite formulation liquide pour obtenir une prise transdermique de nicotine à travers la peau d'un sujet et l'utilisation de la nicotine pour la production d'une formulation liquide pour le traitement d'une maladie, choisie parmi le groupe consistant de la dépendance au tabac et à la nicotine, la maladie d'Alzheimer , la maladie de Crohn, la maladie de Parkinson, le syndrome de Tourette et la colite ulcéreuse et pour le contrôle du poids suite à la cessation du tabac.
