A load insensitive power supply includes an output circuit normally connected to a load for receiving power from the power supply and an input circuit for connection across an AC power supply source alternately having first and second 180° half-cycles of operation. A transformer is provided having a primary winding connected across the input circuit and including first and second seriesconnected secondary windings having a common junction. A filter choke is connected in series between the junction and the output circuit. A first bi-directional switch serves, when ON, to connect the filter choke and the firstsecondary winding in a first series circuit with the output circuit, permitting bi-directional current flow therethrough. A second bi-directional switch serves, when ON, to connect the filter choke and the second secondary winding in a second series circuit with the output circuit for bi-directional current flow therethrough.
Bloc d'alimentation insensible à la charge comportant un circuit de sortie, habituellement connecté à une charge pour recevoir la tension du bloc d'alimentation, et un circuit d'entrée se connectant à une source d'alimentation c.a. qui alterne entre un premier et un second demi-cycle de fonctionnement de 180 degrés. Un transformateur est prévu et comporte un enroulement primaire branché au circuit d'entrée. Il comprend également un premier enroulement secondaire et un second enroulement secondaire branchés en série et possédant une jonction commune. Une bobine de filtrage est connectée en série entre la jonction et le circuit de sortie. Un premier interrupteur bidirectionnel, lorsque mis en position ON, sert à brancher la bobine de filtrage et le premier enroulement secondaire d'un premier circuit en série au circuit de sortie, permettant ainsi la circulation du courant bidirectionnel. Un deuxième interrupteur bidirectionnel, lorsque mis en position ON, sert à connecter la bobine de filtrage et le second enroulement secondaire d'un second circuit en série au circuit de sortie afin que le courant bidirectionnel y circule.
