A device for removing layers of corrosion and other coatings (205) from a metal surface (204) is disclosed. Said device includes a signal generator (202) driving an induction coil (201) that is positioned on the structure (204). A control unit (206) includes a temperature sensor sensing the temperature in the metal structure (204). The control unit is adapted to control the power output of the signal generator (202) in accordance with the temperature in the metal structure (204).

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour retirer des couches de corrosions et d'autres revêtements (205) d'une surface métallique (204). Ledit dispositif comprend un générateur de signaux (202) pilotant une bobine d'induction (201) qui est positionnée sur la structure (204).
