The known methods of insulating toms (3) of pole (1) coils (2) of synchronous machines are incapable of avoiding problems of current escape due to various factors, including moisture and dirt. In addition, the methods of the prior art have to be carried out manually. The present invention overcomes these drawbacks by a process of applying an insulation to turns (3) of a pole (1) coil (2) of a synchronous machine, characterized by including a step of applying a powdered insulating varnish onto the turns (3).
