Disclosed herein is a method for removing of fouling by oxidation during pyrolytic decomposition of hydrocarbons into carbon and hydrogen. In the disclosed method, a modified plasma torch and a reaction chamber are used and are characterized in that the torch, and its gaps, pipes and openings as well as in the fouled reaction chamber near its walls, CO2 and H2O are supplied in gas form as a cleansing agent.

De manière à éviter l'encrassement pendant la décomposition pyrolytique des hydrocarbures, dans laquelle une torche à plasma et un réacteur sont utilisés, on envoie dans les interstices, tuyaux et ouvertures de la torche ainsi que sur les parois du réacteur , un gaz ou une vapeur contenant de l'oxygène sous forme d'un composé. Le CO2 ou l'H2O sous forme gazeuse sont utilisés de préférence comme agent nettoyant.
