A method for manufacturing a fuse comprising a fuse element (10), in the form of a single wire, which is formed together with at least one terminal (11, 11a, 11b), in the form of a number of twisted wires. The fuse element and the conductor(s) are formed from the same wire, whereby part of the wire is moved back and forth a number of times to form at least one ring (21) or loop. The ring or loop is twisted into a conductor (11, 11a, 11b) in the form of a number of twisted strands, whereby one of the twisted strands is formed to be included in part, in the terminal (11, 11a, 11b) twisted together with an additional number of wires and to constitute, in part, a fuse element (10).
On décrit un procédé de fabrication d'un fusible comprenant un élément fusible (10) et obtenu à partir d'une seule longueur de fil métallique. L'élément fusible est pourvu d'au moins une borne (11, 11a, 11b) sous la forme d'un certain nombre de sections de fil métallique, qui sont retordues. L'élément fusible et le ou les conducteur(s) sont réalisés à partir d'une même longueur de fil métallique en déplaçant le fil vers l'avant et vers l'arrière un certain nombre de fois pour former au moins un anneau (21) ou une boucle. On retord ensuite l'anneau ou la boucle pour former un conducteur (11, 11a, 11b) se présentant sous la forme d'un certain nombre de fils retordus. On obtient ainsi un fusible constitué d'une part de bornes de plusieurs sections du fil retordues (11, 11a, 11b) et, d'autre part, d'un élément fusible (10).
