A method and a device are described for the simultaneous fabrication of identical Bragg gratings in different optical fibres or optical waveguides. The fibres/waveguides (1) are mounted side-by-side on a common support (2), along with a phase mask (3), which gives the desired intensity distribution to a writing radiation of the grating. Said common support (2) is reciprocated transversally to the longitudinal axis of the fibres or waveguides, at an appropriately low frequency such that each fibre/waveguide is exposed to such a radiation, at each pass under the radiation, for a time sufficient to start a refractive index change.
L'invention est constituée par une méthode et un dispositif de fabrication simultanée de réseaux de Bragg identiques dans des fibres optiques ou des guides de lumières différents. Ces fibres ou ces guides (1) sont montés côte à côte sur un support commun (2), avec un masque de déphasage (3), ce qui permet d'obtenir la distribution d'intensité désirée pour le rayonnement de production des réseaux. Ce support commun (2) est déplacé transversalement à l'axe longitudinal des fibres ou des guides de lumières, à une cadence suffisamment lente pour que chaque fibre ou chaque guide de lumières soit exposé au rayonnement, à chaque passage sous ce rayonnement, durant un intervalle de temps suffisamment long pour amorcer une modification de l'indice de réfraction.
