There is provided a method of treating wood in a treatment chamber. A plurality of wood pieces are provided in the treatment chamber. The wood pieces are positioned in a spaced-apart wood array configuration and define a non-linear path therebetween for circulating a gas flow. A gas flow is then circulated along the non-linear path between the wood pieces in a general gas flow direction.
L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement du bois dans une chambre de traitement. Plusieurs pièces de bois sont placées dans la chambre de traitement. Les pièces de bois sont positionnées en une configuration en batterie de pièces de bois espacées les unes des autres et définissent entre elles un trajet non linéaire de circulation d'un écoulement de gaz. Un écoulement de gaz circule alors le long du trajet non linéaire entre les pièces de bois dans une direction globale d'écoulement de gaz.
