A blower/vaccum device (10) having a base (11) supported on wheels (18). The device (10) has a reservoir (bag) (17) that receives material collected by the device (10). Mounted on the base (11) is a motor and impeller assembly (21) that draws air inward and delivers the air (with collected material) to the bag (17). The assembly (21) can also be operated to provide a forward delivery directed air stream.
