(57) Abstract: In a hydronic radiant heating and/or cooling system modular panels each of a metal plate or sheet on a board or boards providing a slot into which tubing is inserted and held against the plate in intimate thermal contact therewith, so that the plate is heated/cooled by conduction of heat between the water in the tubing and the plate, the improvement in which two or more of said panels are hinged together, side by side to provide a hinged set of panels so that two or more of sets of hinged panels unfolded at their hinges and arranged end to end on a floor, wall or ceiling provide elongated spaces into which said tubing is inserted and held against said radiation plate a finished floor, wall or ceiling covering can be installed thereon and said system operated to heat or cool said room, the improvement wherein the panels of a set are arranged in a regular staggered relationship so that such sets unfolded and arranged end to end abutting each other interlock.
La présente invention concerne un système de climatisation et/ou de chauffage hydronique par rayonnement à panneaux modulaires. Chaque panneau est constitué d'une plaque de métal ou d'une feuille sur un tableau ou des tableaux présentant une fente dans laquelle un tuyau est introduit et maintenu contre la plaque en un contact thermique intime avec cette dernière, de sorte qu'elle est chauffée/refroidie par conduction de chaleur entre l'eau contenue dans le tuyau et cette plaque. L'amélioration porte sur le fait qu'au moins deux de ces panneaux sont articulés ensemble, côte à côte, de façon à offrir un ensemble articulé de panneaux, et de sorte qu'au moins deux ensembles de panneaux articulés et dépliés au niveau de leurs articulations et agencés bout à bout sur un plancher, un mur ou un plafond, offrent un espace allongé dans lequel ledit tuyau est introduit et maintenu contre la plaque de rayonnement. On peut installer un plancher, un mur ou un plafond de finition, en recouvrement de ce système destiné à chauffer ou à rafraîchir la pièce. L'amélioration porte également sur le fait que les panneaux d'un ensemble sont agencés en décalage régulier de sorte que ces ensembles dépliés et mis bout à bout soient assemblés mutuellement au niveaux des extrémités contiguës.
