A method and associated equipment are disclosed wich allow drilling at least a portion of a well and subsequently cementing casing in a single trip. The method is particularly suited for deep-water offshore operations where the drill string can be run through a section of casing leaving a bit and an under- reamer extending out below. The casing is equipped with ports through which cement can be pumped as well as an external casing packer to prevent the uncured cement in the annulus from U-tubing. Several casing sections can be run in during drilling and cemented succession using the one trip method.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un équipement associé permettant de forer au moins une partie d'un puits et d'en cimenter le tubage en un seul aller et retour. Ce procédé convient particulièrement à des opérations de forage en mer en eaux profondes dans lesquelles un train de tiges traverse une section de tubage, un trépan et un élargisseur pouvant se prolonger sous ce train. Le tubage est pourvu d'orifices à travers lesquels du ciment peut être pompé, et d'un packer de tubage empêchant le ciment non durci dans l'espace annulaire de former un tube en U. Plusieurs sections de tubage peuvent être descendues pendant le forage puis cimentées au moyen de ce procédé à un seul aller et retour.
