A process and apparatus for adding glue to a flow (L) of loose wooden material, in particular a flow of wood chips and fibres, in which the wooden material is introduced through an inlet (3) into a mixer device (4). The glue is sprayed onto the flow of wooden material, internally of the mixer device (4), by means of nozzles (21) arranged in proximity of the inlet (3). The mixer device (4) is crossed by a flow of hot air. The wooden material, mixed with the glue, after having crossed the mixer device, drawn by the flow of hot air, is removed via an outlet (10) and sent on to subsequent work operations. The invention serves in particular in the manufacturing of wood-chip and fibre panels. The panels obtained are of high quality, being practically devoid of surface imperfections.
L'invention porte sur un procédé et un appareil permettant d'ajouter de la colle à un écoulement (L) de matériau ligneux en vrac, notamment un écoulement de copeaux de bois et de fibres ligneuses, le matériau ligneux étant introduit par un orifice d'admission (3) dans un mélangeur (4). La colle est pulvérisée sur l'écoulement de matériau ligneux, à l'intérieur du mélangeur (4), au moyen de buses (21) situées à proximité de l'orifice d'admission (3). Le mélangeur (4) est traversé par un écoulement d'air chaud. Le matériau ligneux, mélangé à la colle, après avoir été mélangé, est aspiré par l'écoulement d'air chaud et retiré par un orifice d'évacuation (10) et envoyé pour subir d'autres traitements. Cette invention permet de fabriquer notamment des panneaux en fibres et copeaux de bois. Le panneaux obtenus sont de haute qualité, pratiquement dépourvus d'imperfections en surface.
