A roof-top snow removal device comprises a strip having a longitudinally extending, smooth, water repellent, lubricity to snow exhibiting, upper surface, and, say, cushioned weights for holding one end of the strip against movement. The strip is laid to extend downwardly, along an inclined roof with the cushions holding the upper end of the strip over the roof ridge. Snow shoveled on the strip will slip downwardly therealong and off the roof, while the cushions will hold the strip against movement down the roof. The strip may be of polyethylene or polytetrafluoroethylene with a fabric backing.
Dispositif de déneigement de toit comprenant une bande présentant une surface supérieure lisse, hydrophobe, exerçant une action lubrifiante sur la neige, se prolongeant dans le sens de la longueur, et des poids matelassés pour empêcher une extrémité de la bande de se déplacer. La bande est posée le long d'un toit incliné, de façon à se prolonger vers le bas, avec les coussins retenant l'extrémité supérieure de la bande par-dessus la ligne de faîte du toit. La neige entassée sur la bande glissera vers le bas et à l'extérieur du toit, pendant que les coussins empêcheront la bande de tomber du toit. La bande peut être faite de polyéthylène ou de polytétrafluoréthylène avec un support textile.
