ABRASION RESISTANT COATED WINDOW Abstract of the Disclosure A window having a film of transparent, colored metal or metal oxide that acts to reflect heat and light is made abrasion resistant by overcoating its transparent, colored metal or metal oxide film with a clear, transparent film of tin oxide deposited at elevated temperatures to a thickness sufficient to provide abrasion resistance evidenced by less than two per cent haze following a standard Taber abrasion test for 1,000 revolutions.
