A disposable diaper having a waist pocket cuff is disclosed. The pocket cuff has first and second portions separable along a releasable seam. The releasable seam can be formed by overlapping portions of the first and second portions of the pocket cuff. In one embodiment the releasable seam includes a mechanical fastener for securing together the first and second portions of the pocket cuff. In another embodiment the releasable seam comprises an adhesive fastener.

L'invention présente une couche jetable munie d'une pochette au niveau de la ceinture. Cette pochette comporte deux pièces susceptibles de se séparer le long d'une jointure amovible, celle-ci pouvant être formée par la superposition de parties de la première et de la seconde pièce de la pochette. Dans une réalisation, la jointure amovible comporte un élément de fixation mécanique servant à attacher l'une à l'autre les deux pièces susmentionnées, alors que dans une autre, la jointure comporte une fixation adhésive.
