The invention relates to an adapter for connecting notably a power bus to a ribbon cable, comprising a base plate (1) provided with insulation- displacement contacts for contacting the ribbon cable and a chamber (11) which can be placed on to the base plate (1) and connected to the base plate (1) by means of one or more plug-in connections.
