The present invention provides a denture adhesive liner in the form of an extruded film or sheet, comprising (a) a denture adhesive effective amount of alginate; (b) thermoplastic polymer; and (c) plasticizer, wherein said composition is extrudable into a film that is capable of adhering to a wet mucous surface. The present invention also provides a method for preparing a denture adhesive liner comprising the steps of : (a) preparing a composition of a denture adhesive effective amount of alginate; thermoplastic polymer; and plasticizer; and (b) forming a denture adhesive liner from the composition.
La présente invention a trait à une garniture adhésive pour prothèse dentaire sous la forme d'un film ou d'une feuille extrudé(e) comportant: (a) une quantité efficace d'adhésif d'alginate pour prothèse dentaire; (b) un polymère thermoplastique; et (c) un agent plastifiant; ladite composition étant apte à être extrudée sous en un film qui est capable d'adhérer à une surface muqueuse humide. La présente invention a également trait à un procédé pour la préparation d'une garniture adhésive pour prothèse dentaire comprenant les étapes suivantes: (a) la préparation d'une composition d'une quantité efficace d'adhésif d'alginate pour prothèse dentaire; un polymère thermoplastique; et un agent plastifiant; et (b) et la formation d'une garniture adhésive pour prothèse dentaire à partir de la composition.
