ABSTRACT In the operation of a liquid fueled internal combustion engine, it is known to have a fuel system that atomizes the liquid fuel in some way into the air-stream that is inducted into the combustion chamber. This combustible mixture is inducted into the combustion chamber through a manifold that feeds each cylinder of the engine. In almost all cases an attempt is made to heat this mixture in some way as to try to gasify the atomized liquid fuel on it's way to the combustion chamber. In this invention; which is a process that accomplishes complete gasification of the atomized liquid fuel before entrance into the air stream; the fuel is first atomized by injection into the presence of a hot inert gas. This gas may be the exhaust gas of the engine that is being fueled, or it may be steam produced by water that is heated by the excess heat of the exhaust gas stream produced by the engine. This action produces instantaneous gasification of the fuel and this gas mixes with the hot inert gas in the chamber where the hot inert gas is present. This mixture is then introduced into the air stream that is inducted into the engine, now becoming a combustible mixture. At this point the combustible mixture need only be maintained high enough to prevent precipitation of the gasified fuel while it mixes with the air-stream on it's way to the combustion chamber.
