The trigger item instance, called and escape item, includes an action, escape, that is predefined to stop further activity based on the received digits. The benefits of having negative logic available in the form of an escape item may simplify certain service scenarios. For instance it will take many fewer definitions to turn on or off a small subset of a digit range using escape items than just with trigger items.
