An air tight panel support assembly for an access floor having a plurality of panels (12) includes a pedestal (60) for supporting at least one panel of the access floor, and a stringer (66) supported by the pedestal. In use, the stringer (66) extends from one pedestal to another pedestal and supports the underside edges of adjacent panels (12) so as to close any gap therebetween.

L'invention concerne un ensemble support de panneau étanche à l'air pour un faux-plancher présentant une pluralité de panneaux (12), comportant un socle (60) destiné à porter au moins un panneau du faux-plancher, et un limon (66) porté par le socle. Durant l'utilisation, le limon (66) s'étend d'un socle à l'autre et porte le dos des bords des panneaux adjacents (12) de manière à combler tout espace présent entre ces derniers.
