The invention relates to an alkali and acid resistant glass composition, in particular for producing reinforcing glass fibres comprising the following components within limits expressed in percent by weight: table (I), in addition, said composition is F-free, the impurity (Al2O3, Fe2O3 et Cr2O3) thereof is less than 1 % and it satisfies the following relationships: table (II). The obtained glass fibres for reinforcing inorganic, for example cementitious, or organic, for example plastics, materials and composites containing said fibres are also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne une composition de verre résistant aux alcalis et aux acides, notamment pour la réalisation de fils de verre de renforcement, qui comprend les constituants suivants dans les limites définies ci-après, en pourcentages pondéraux: table (I), la composition étant en outre exempte de F, contenant moins de 1 % d'impuretés (Al2O3, Fe2O3 et Cr2O3) et satisfaisant les relations suivantes: table (II). Elle concerne aussi l'utilisation des fils de verre obtenus pour le renforcement de matières inorganiques, par exemple cimentaires ou organiques, par exemple plastiques, et les composites renfermant de tels fils.
