A novel class of pharmaceuticals which comprises a Locked Nucleic Acid (LNA) which can be used in antisense therapy. These novel oligonucleotides have improved antisense properties. The novel oligonucleotides are composed of at least one LNA selected from beta-D-thio/amino-LNA or alpha-L-oxy/thio/amino- LNA. The oligonucleotides comprising LNA may also include DNA and/or RNA nucleotides.
La présente invention concerne une nouvelle classe de produits pharmaceutiques qui comprend un acide nucléique verrouillé (LNA) qui peut être utilisé dans une thérapie antisens. Ces nouveaux oligonucléotides possèdent des propriétés antisens. Ces nouveaux oligonucléotides sont composés d'au moins un LNA sélectionné parmi un LNA bêta-D-thio/amino ou un LNA alpha-L-oxy/thio/amino. Ces oligonucléotides comprenant un ou plusieurs LNA peuvent aussi comprendre des nucléotides ADN et/ou ARN.
