Novel analgesics for various diseases such as headache and migraine and pain and ache in association with trauma, physical compression, etc. These analgesics contain as the active ingredient benzene derivatives represented by general formula (I) or pharmacologically acceptable salts thereof, wherein R1 represents a group represented by general formula (a): or a group represented by general formula (b): R2, R3, R4 and R5 represent each a substituent; and the ring A represents a benzene or thiophene ring.
