The invention relates to a device for processing or treating surfaces by means of a dry ice granulate. Said device comprises a storage container for holding a dry ice medium, especially dry ice pellets, an inlet for supplying a propellant medium, an outlet for supplying a mixture of the propellant medium and the dry ice granulate to a blast gun and an intermediary discharge compartment. A mill work is arranged in the path between the storage container and the discharge compartment and is configured to reduce the dry ice medium to a dry ice granulate having a particle size in a defined range. A transport roller (4) is interposed between the mill work (3) and the discharge compartment (59), the transport roller (4) being operable with varying speed to vary the amount of particles of the dry ice granulate per time unit. The invention also relates to a corresponding method and to the use of said method.
L'invention concerne un dispositif de traitement de surface à l'aide de granules de glace sèche, lequel dispositif comprend un réservoir de stockage destiné à contenir de la glace sèche, en particulier des pastilles (pellets) de glace sèche, un orifice d'entrée pour l'alimentation en agent propulseur, un orifice de sortie permettant d'amener un mélange constitué d'agent propulseur et de granules de glace sèche à un pistolet de projection ainsi qu'une chambre d'écoulement située entre les deux orifices, un broyeur étant placé sur le chemin menant du réservoir de stockage à la chambre d'écoulement, lequel broyeur est conçu pour fractionner la glace sèche en granules de glace sèche présentant une taille de particules située dans une fourchette prédéterminée, et un cylindre de transport (4) étant placé entre le broyeur (3) et la chambre d'écoulement (59), lequel cylindre de transport (4) est capable de fonctionner à une vitesse de rotation variable, afin de faire varier la quantité de particules de glace sèche par unité de temps. L'invention concerne également un procédé correspondant et l'utilisation dudit procédé.
