Methods and apparatus including computer program products, implementing and using techniques for controlling capabilities of a user software applications (125a). A user application is provided (100), the user software application (125) including a set of disabled operations. Content capable of being operated on by one or more of the disabled operations in the set of disabled operations is received. Application rights information operable to enable an operation (130a) in the set of disabled operations to operate on content within a context specified in the application rights information are received and the operation in the set of disabled operations is enabled to operate on the received content. Methods and apparatus for providing content (135) to be operated on by the user software application (125a) and methods and apparatus for providing a configurable, context-dependent user software application are also described.
L'invention concerne des procédés et un appareil comprenant des produits de programme informatique, permettant de mettre en oeuvre et d'utiliser des techniques permettant de commander les capacités d'applications (125a) logicielles d'un utilisateur. Une application d'utilisateur est dotée (100) de l'application logicielle d'utilisateur (125) comprenant un ensemble d'exploitation désactivée. Un contenu pouvant être exploité par le biais d'une ou de plusieurs exploitations désactivées de l'ensemble susmentionné est reçu. Des informations concernant des droits d'application pouvant être exploitées pour activer une exploitation (130a) de l'ensemble susmentionné pour exploiter un contenu à l'intérieur d'un contexte spécifié dans les informations concernant les droits d'application sont reçues, et l'exploitation dans l'ensemble des exploitations désactivées est activée pour exploiter le contenu reçu. Des procédés et un appareil permettant de fournir un contenu (135) à exploiter au moyen de l'application logicielle d'utilisateur (125a), ainsi que des procédés et un appareil permettant de fournir une application logicielle d'utilisateur dépendante du contexte et configurable sont également décrits.
