Aqueous crosslinkable coating composition comprising (A) an aqueous dispersion of at least one vinyl polymer which is hydroxyl- and acid-functional, in which: (i) said at least one polymer has a hydroxyl value within the range of from 8 to 250 mg KOH/g of solid polymer; (ii) said at least one vinyl polymer has an acid value within the range of from 2 to 55 mg KOH/g of solid polymer, where the contribution of at least 30 % of the acid value results from the acid groups of polymerised units in the vinyl polymer of a monocarboxylic acid(s) of formula: P-CO2H where P is a moeity having a chain of at least 5 carbon atoms linked to carboxyl groups and which includes a polymerisable olefinically unsaturated bond (i.e. a carbon to carbon double bond) and excludes any group which is readily hydrolysable to an acid group; and (B) at least one organic polyisocyanate.
L'invention concerne des compositions de revêtement réticulables et aqueuses, renfermant (A) une dispersion aqueuse d'au moins un polymère vinylique à fonctionnalité hydroxylique et acide, dans laquelle (i) l'un au moins desdits polymères présente un indice hydroxyle compris entre 8 et 250 mg KOH/g de polymère solide; (ii) l'un au moins desdits polymères vinyliques présente un indice d'acidité compris entre 2 et 55 mg KOH/g de polymère solide, au moins 30 % de l'indice d'acidité étant imputable aux groupes acides d'unités polymérisées dans le polymère vinylique d'un acide(s) monocarboxylique(s) de formule: P-CO¿2?H, dans laquelle P représente une fraction présentant une chaîne d'au moins 5 atomes de carbone liés à des groupes carboxyles, et qui comprend une liaison polymérisable oléfiniquement insaturée (c'est-à-dire une liaison double carbone-carbone), excluant tout groupe facilement hydrolysable en un groupe acide; et (B) au moins un polyisocyanate organique.
