The invention relates to an axle drive unit (1), in particular an electrical drive unit, driving a wheel axle, for application in motor vehicles, with an electric motor, comprising a rotor and a stator, a gearset, comprising at least one input, which may be rotationally fixed to the rotor of the electric motor and at least one output which may be rotationally fixed to the wheel axle. The electric motor, input and output of the gearset and the wheel axle are arranged coaxially to each other. At least one converter (11) and a brake resistance unit are connected to the electric motor. The invention is characterised in that the converter (11) forms a constructional unit with the electric motor. The brake resistance unit is in the direct spatial vicinity of the electric motor and arranged around the driven and driving shaft of the electric motor or the wheel axle.
La présente invention concerne une unité d'entraînement d'essieu (1), en particulier une unité d'entraînement électrique servant à entraîner un essieu de roue, ladite unité étant destinée à être utilisée dans des véhicules. Ladite unité comprend: un moteur électrique comprenant un rotor et un stator; un module de transmission comprenant au moins une entrée qui peut être connectée de manière fixe en rotation au rotor du moteur électrique, et au moins une sortie qui peut être connectée de manière fixe en rotation à l'essieu de roue. Le moteur électrique, l'entrée et la sortie du module de transmission, et l'essieu de roue sont disposés de manière coaxiale. Le moteur électrique comprend au moins une unité de conversion (11) et un module de résistance de freinage. L'invention se caractérise en ce que l'unité de conversion (11) forme une unité structurelle avec le moteur électrique. Le module de résistance de freinage se trouve à proximité immédiate du moteur électrique et est disposé autour de l'arbre d'entrée et de l'arbre de sortie du moteur électrique ou de l'essieu de roue.
