Abstract of the Disclosure A spring motor comprises an output drum rotatably mounted to a casing and a first end of a spring attached to the output drum. A second end of the spring is attached to a free floating locking plug, around which the spring coils in an unstressed state. A pin is mounted near the output drum to prevent the locking plug from passing between the pin and the output drum.
