An opening (113) defined at the proximal end portion (104) of the elongated body (105), the opening (113) being in fluid communication with the balloon (120) via the lumen (101), and a valve body (150) moveably disposed at the proximal end portion (104) of the elongated body (105), the valve body (150) movable between a closed position and an open position, the valve body (150) configured to engage a surface of the elongated body (105), distal to the opening (113), to seal the opening (113) when the valve body (150) is in the closed position.

L'invention se rapporte à un dispositif médical destiné à l'occlusion d'un vaisseau et comportant un corps oblong doté d'une partie d'extrémité distale, d'une partie d'extrémité distale et d'un canal intérieur le traversant, un ballonnet disposé au niveau de la partie d'extrémité distale dudit corps oblong, ledit ballonnet étant en communication fluidique avec le canal intérieur. Une ouverture définie au niveau de la partie d'extrémité proximale du corps oblong est en communication fluidique avec le ballonnet par l'intermédiaire du canal intérieur, et un corps de valve est disposé, de manière à pouvoir se déplacer, au niveau de la partie d'extrémité proximale du corps oblong. Ledit corps de valve se déplace entre une position de fermeture et une position d'ouverture et il est conçu pour entrer en contact avec une surface du corps oblong, située à distance de l'ouverture, et pour obturer hermétiquement l'ouverture lorsque le corps de valve est en position de fermeture.
