ABSTRACT: With all wet cell batteries the power system is by means of 2(two) round posts, positive and negative, either on the top or the side of the battery case. With this invention the posts are replaced by a built in receptacle for use in the same manner as a household electrical wall receptacle. In this way making the attachment of power cables much easier and safer. The power cables would have a male plug, with different shaped prongs so that it would not be possible to put the plug in wrong and cross the positive and negative poles of the battery, which can now be done very easily with the present wet cell hook-up. The booster cables would have the same type of plugs on each end so when boosting a low battery a person would simply plug the cables in to the respective battery, or plug and clamps for new battery and conventional battery hook-up. Utility receptacle built into the battery for use with 12 volt power tools or trouble light etc.
