ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This relates to methods and apparatus for accurately and easily bending sheet-like workpieces into various shapes including those which are channel-like and semi-circular in cross-section. Means are provided for automatically adjusting and setting the stroke length of the ram member by which an upper tool is brought into a groove of a lower tool to effect bending of a workpiece. Such means are responsive to a computing device which is initially supplied with data relating to the bending conditions.
