Disclosed is a benzyl phenyl glucopyranoside derivative having excellent inhibitory effect on human SGLT1 and/or SGLT2 activity. Specifically disclosed is a compound represented by the general formula (I) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof. (I) wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, an amino group, a hydroxy C1-C6 alkyl group, or the like; R2 represents a hydrogen atom, or the like; R3 represents a C1-C6 alkyl group, a hydroxy C1-C6 alkyl group, or the like; R4 represents a hydrogen atom, a C2-C7 acyl group, or the like; R5, R6, R7 and R8 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1-C6 alkyl group, or the like (provided that all of R5, R6, R7 and R8 do not represent a hydrogen atom in a molecule); R9 represents a halogen atom; n represents a number ranging from 0 to 4; and X represents CH or N.

La présente invention concerne un dérivé du benzyl phényl glucopyranoside ayant un excellent effet inhibiteur sur l'activité SGLT1 et/ou SGLT2 humain. L'invention concerne spécifiquement un composé représenté par la formule générale (I) ou un sel pharmacologiquement acceptable de celui-ci. (I) dans laquelle R1 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un groupe amino, un groupe hydroxy alkyle en C1-C6 ou un radical similaire ; R2 représente un atome d'hydrogène ou un radical similaire ; R3 représente un groupe alkyle en C1-C6, un groupe hydroxy alkyle en C1-C6 ou un radical similaire ; R4 représente un atome d'hydrogène, un groupe acyle en C2-C7 ou un radical similaire ; R5, R6, R7 et R8 représentent indépendamment un atome d'hydrogène, un groupe alkyle en C1-C6 ou un radical similaire (à condition que R5, R6, R7 et R8 ne représentent pas tous un atome d'hydrogène dans une molécule) ; R9 représente un atome d'halogène ; n représente un nombre allant de 0 à 4 ; et X représente CH ou N.
