ABSTRACT OF DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a bushing for processing molten glass. The bushing has a bottom wall provided with orifices to deliver downwardly flowing streams of molten glass side walls and end walls. The bushing is provided with oppositely arranged terminals to receive electrical conductors for heating the bushing. The bushing end walls and the terminal means are moulded integrally from rhodium or platinum/rhodium alloy by the following method; a hollow shaped mould is made of the end-terminal from wax, the wax pattern is solidified and removed from the shaped mould; the wax pattern is then invested with a fine refactory material to form a coating thereon; the coating is built up by stuccoing it with sand in repeated stages; after the coated pattern is dried it is removed from the wax and fired at high temperature; the end wall terminal is then cast from the pattern mould from molten platinum/rhodium alloy in a vacuum furnace.
