A covering device including an elastic covering member (15) in a hollow cylindrical shape, having an inner diameter in a contracted state smaller than an outer diameter of a cable portion to be sealed, and a core (11) in a hollow cylindrical shape, having an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of the cable portion to be sealed on the outer periphery of which the elastic covering member (15) is mounted in an expanded state. The elastic covering member (15) and core (11) are arranged while surrounding the cable portion to be sealed so that the contracted elastic covering member (15) closely covers the cable portion to be sealed when the core (11) is pulled out therefrom. A slip member (13) having a low surface friction is interposed between the inner periphery of the elastic member (15) and the outer periphery of the core (11) to facilitate removal of the core (11).
Dispositif de recouvrement comportant un manchon protecteur élastique (15) en forme de cylindre creux dont le diamètre intérieur à l'état contracté est inférieur au diamètre extérieur de la portion de câble à protéger, et un noyau (11) en forme de cylindre creux dont le diamètre intérieur à l'état contracté est supérieur au diamètre extérieur de la portion de câble à protéger à la périphérie de laquelle le manchon protecteur (15) se monte à l'état dilaté. Ledit manchon (15) ainsi que son noyau (11) sont tels que lorsqu'ils entourent la portion de câble à isoler, le manchon (15) après extraction du noyau recouvre intimement la portion de câble à sceller. Un élément glissant (13) à faible coefficient de frottement superficiel est interposé entre la périphérie intérieure du manchon protecteur (15) et la périphérie extérieure du noyau (11) pour faciliter l'extraction de ce dernier.
