A cable television system employs two-way communication between a headend (30) and at least one subscriber terminal (10). The two-way communication is provided by having separate frequency bands for each communication path. The frequency bands do not overlap and the higher frequency band is used for subscriber terminal to headend transmissions. A line amplifier (100) is provided that employs two diplex filters (110, 140) each connected to both a forward and reverse amplifier (120, 130). The high pass portions of the diplex filters (330, 340, 201) are formed from both lumped and distributed components.
L'invention concerne un système de télévision par câble faisant appel à une communication bidirectionnelle entre une tête de bus (30) et au moins un terminal d'abonné (10). Des bandes de fréquences séparées assurant le passage de chaque communication permettent d'obtenir cette communication bidirectionnelle. Les bandes ne se chevauchent pas et la bande de fréquence plus haute sert aux transmissions, du terminal de l'abonné à la tête de bus. L'appareil utilise un amplificateur de ligne (100) faisant appel à deux filtres diplexeurs (110, 140) dont chacun est connecté et à un amplificateur sans contre-réaction et à un amplificateur à contre-réaction (120, 130). Les parties passe-haut des filtres diplexeurs (330, 340, 201) sont constituées à la fois d'une constante localisée et d'une constante répartie.
