There is provided a calibration system for a deskewing and registering device for an electrophotographic printing machine. The method includes a.)moving a sheet from a first position to a second position along a paper path; b.)sensing the position of the sheet at the first position and the second position; c.)choosing a correction value to cause the sheet to change a lateral position from the first position to the second position; d.)repeating the moving, sensing, and choosing steps until a predetermined adjustment is made when moving the sheet from the first position to the second position to determine a proper calibration value. On présente un système de calibration d'un dispositif de réalignement et de repérage dans une presse d'impression électrophotographique. La méthode comprend a) le déplacement d'un feuillet d'une première position à une seconde position le long du chemin du papier; b) la saisie de la position du feuillet à la première position et à la seconde position; d) le choix d'une valeur de correction qui entraîne un changement de la position latérale du feuillet entre la première position et la seconde; d) la répétition des étapes de déplacement, saisie et sélection jusqu'à l'obtention d'un réglage pré-déterminé quand le feuillet passe de la première position à la seconde position pour fixer la bonne valeur de calibration. Une système de calibration d'un dispositif de réalignement et de repérage dans un presse d'impession électrophotographique.
