The invention relates to a candoluminescent material composed of a mixture of oxides comprising in moles: 50 to 70% zirconium oxide (ZrO2), 5 to 8% yttrium oxide (Y203), 13 to 20% magnesium oxide (MgO), 4 to 10% lithium oxide (Li20), 0.2 to 0.6% cerium oxide (CeO2), 0 to 25% potassium oxide (K20), 0 to 1% tungsten oxide (WO3). This material is suitable for producing hard mantles for public gas lighting.

Ce matériau convient pour la réalisation de manchons durs dans l'éclairage public au gaz.
