PMW-019 -23- Abstract Pressure sensitive carbonless transfer sheets are made capable of producing clear images by light impact marking means in multi-part carbonless forms packs containing at least six of the sheets, such as 8-12 sheets, by coating a chromogenic material onto a paper sheet characterized by a basis weight of 9-12 lbs, a thickness of 40-50 microns, a Gurley porosity of 400-4000 seconds, and a Bendtsen smooth- ness of 90-260 ml/min on the wire side and 60-280 ml/min on the felt side. Bar codes are also trans- ferrable with good scannability through forms packs containing three or more of the sheets.
