The present invention relates to a replacable cartridge (18) for use in a photocatalytic fluid purification system (10). The cartridge (18) is capable of modifying impurities in a fluid flowing through the cartridge (18) in the presence of light. The cartridge (18) includes a flexible, porous element (42) having a semiconductor coating associated with it and a rigid support structure (44) which supports the element (42). The cartrige (18) may be used in a variety of fluid purification applications where photocatalysis has not heretofore been utilized.
L'invention concerne une cartouche remplaçable (18) conçue pour s'utiliser dans un système de purification photocatalytique (10) de fluides. Cette cartouche (18) est capable de modifier des impuretés contenues dans un fluide qui traverse ladite cartouche (18), en présence de lumière.
