A casual agent pool (CA1...CAn) is provided to facilitate the management of a light load of inbound calls through a calling center (PSTN 11, TS 16) where casual agents (CA1...CAn) may optionally answer those calls as part of their work duties. Agents may transact other business while logged onto the pool (closed audio path), and are alerted to the presence of an incoming call by, for example, the telephone ringing or a computer screen message. Casual agents may then choose whether or not to take an inbound call, depending on their circumstances.

Cette invention se rapporte à un pool d'agents occasionnels (CA1.... CAn) qui est destiné à faciliter la gestion d'une charge partielle d'appels entrants dans un centre d'appel (RTPC 11, serveur téléphonique TS 16), lesdits agents occasionnels (CA1...CAn) ayant la possibilité de répondre éventuellement à ces appels et ceci correspondant à une partie de leurs attributions professionnelles. Ces agents peuvent négocier avec d'autres entreprises lorsqu'ils sont connectés au pool (chemin audio fermé), et sont avertis de la présence d'un appel entrant par une sonnerie de téléphone, par exemple, ou par un message affiché sur un écran d'ordinateur. Ces agents peuvent alors choisir de prendre ou non un appel entrant, selon les circonstances.
